Netflix has revealed its feature list for this year, which features 86 movies, 16 more than last year's 70 titles. That's far more than any other theatrical studio and a bigger pipeline than any rival streamer. Say what you will about Netflix's stock price as of late, but they're still the standard every other OTT service is chasing, and really, they're still elusive.

Netflix's release schedule includes nearly two movies a week, comprised of 61 narrative English-language films, 20 non-English titles, and five animated features.
Two of Netflix's features in 2021 saw record traffic for them: the Dwayne Johnson-Gal Gadot-Ryan Reynolds stockred notice(364 million hours in its first 28 days) and Adam McKay's environmental satiredon't look up(359.8 million hours) with Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Jonah Hill, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Ariana Grande and more. Not every movie on Netflix's lineup receives a limited theatrical release before it debuts on the service. Netflix selects which titles go to theaters on a case-by-case basis, but we typically see a slew of Q4 movies vying for awards on the marquees. While the #1 and #2 circuits, AMC and Regal, never reached an agreement with Netflix to show their movies, the #3 Cinemark network did during the pandemic, withred noticebeing one of their highest-grossing titles on the streamer.
